I like the white face gauges, but for some reason they just don't look quite right in the dash. Like the dash is too dark or something. Maybe I'm just acclimated to having the black dash for the last 40 or so years.
I still might get a set of those stickers.

looks bad in pic but in daytime when everything is nice and clean they look cool and neat. and they are extreamly difficult to put on. gotta get on and around needle without touching the sticky part to anything. i wouldnt do it again. i took a sharpie to my needles to brighten them up.

Found a black light to play with. Holy crap. I might have to see about using one of those instead of the factory setup to illuminate this thing

You know you could replace the illumination bulbs with ultraviolet (black light) ones....from superbright led they run about $1.40 for the wide angle single led up to about $3.75 for six leds.

I tried using uv lights in the factory locations and it didn't work. It would have had to shine directly at the gauges to do anything.

Did you leave the interior holder stock or did you add any reflective metal tape? When I did mine I used some stuff similar to aluminum flashing tape. It is really increased the brightness. I'll shoot a pic of it this evening on the lowest setting, but it's similar to this picture of Jim Lane's truck:

I painted it with some semi-gloss silver paint.
