How to post pictures

Postby dazedandconfused » Thu Oct 25, 2012 12:38 pm

Okay folks this is a frequently asked question on the site and I hope this helps. In order to upload and share your pictured on our site you must use a hosting website. This will tell you how to do that using Photobucket. First go to Photobucket and create an account if you dont have one. You can do this using your phone and ill show how using the Android app. Once you have added your photos to your account from the computer click on the pic you want to share. You should get a screen that looks like this pn the computer.
Image
On the right side you see link options. Clock on the image link and copy it. Take that link and paste it in ghe reply box. That will allow the picture to actually show on our site. You can modigy settings in photobucket to allow the links to show without clicking on one picture as well. That screen looks like this.

Now you can do the same from the app easier. Open the app and click on the album. On my DROID RAZR max you click the setting button. This will allow you to choose your albums. Open the album and select a picture. Once the pic is open tap the settings key and it will open a menu like this.
Image
Click on view links and you will get options. Click on the image code and it will copy it. Paste this in the response box. That screen will look like this.

Hope this helps and we can make this part of the members must read.

On my DROID if you hold the power and down volume at the exact same time it gives you a screen shot. If you need to reboot because the phone freezes press the bottom button and then the power and hold. It will restart the phone. I stumbled across the screen shot trying to reboot one night lol.
