HELP WANTED

Postby BC847 » Mon Feb 03, 2014 9:17 pm

Folks, it's time for some general house cleaning. Specifically, our Sticky situation.

Richie O had started such, but it's fallen into disrepair. viewtopic.php?f=45&t=10060

I'd like to construct some Sticky type threads that point to all the Sticky class material, How-To's, and related stuff.

If you would, could you guys post links to all the stuff that would make good sticky material, in this thread? Please be sure to include brief descriptions so I can sort it all out.

Further, I'm open to suggestions as to how we might present the Sticky stuff. Such as: A dedicated (locked) forum board noting all the various Stickys. Or, individual Stickys specific to each of our dedicated forum boards such as: Transmission, Engine, Drive-train, etc.

Many of you good folks have taken the time to document your repair & upgrade adventures. It's a shame IMO that many are not seen simply because they roll off the front page.

BC...are you going to lock the treads? I'd hope you wouldn't because I have more to add to that 518 tread in the sticky section,I'm just needing the time and a new scanner to transfer the materials. The time is the hardest thing I'm having trouble finding :(

Also, in terms of the application of the sticky, could you change the part# forum to the Sticky and then make the part# section a subforum in it? Then just move the Sticky to the top of the "Ours" forum section.

You have a fusable link on the driver side inner fender blown. They come off of the Duckbill connector.

@ steve61,
This is a thread to link to How To" type of topics. Not really for individual's truck issues parse. As so as you acknowledge this, I'll move your question to a new thread.
Thanks for understanding. :)
