If there is one there and it is decent, use it. I hunted this gasket once and everyone told me to reuse it.

I bought this turbo and got the 14 cm housing, but didn't get a back plate. I ordered one from pdr, but never thought about getting a gasket. I'm assuming its a modified hx35 ex housing, soI don't know that an hx 40 one would work??? I guess I could call pdr again, but I'll have to call the bank again to approve and out of country transaction then wait about a week.

Just looked at the gasket I picked up at work, and the Cummins number is 3535001, and the Mopar number is 4874541.
