I know this is likely not too hot a topic, but I had occasion to need the input seal surface cleaned up (brand new- came in the toolbox of one of my ElCheapo Texas trucks, and had appreciable rust) and bead blasting didnt get it like I wanted, so I went to NAPA and inquired about a speedi-sleeve for it. They had one. Part number is Chicago Rawhide #99166. It was $28 and some change with my discount (g/f works at one of their leading shops as far as sales volume), but it beat a new input shaft at $100-150 and that is last fall's prices.
I also have a number floating around for the little boot that goes on top of the shift tower (NOT either of the ones inside the cab floor, but actually clamps to the tranny). It is a CV boot that requires 2 new worm type clamps, but I have installed 4 of them with good results.
