ANd not just any part numbers. These 2 numbers will ensure dependable consistent stopping for your 1st gen CTD Ram for many years to come. I got the fittings to bypass the useless RWAL valve on these rigs today. I will install them tomorrow as it is raining now, but here are the NAPA numbers-

WEA 7917 & WEA 7828.

Total came to $8.56 with tax. Well worth it, IMO. And I didnt have to buy any lines or do any flaring. Simply unhook and install the fittings in place of the RWAL module/ solenoid. I will try to remember to take pics tomorrow as I do it.

I can tell you with near absolute certainty that the prices have gone up in the last 3-4 years. I priced some for my W350 last summer (08), and it was close to $20 for the two fittings.

In hindsight, I think one would be better off removing the lines from the ABS unit and reflaring the end of the brake line (from the MC) to go into the brake hose directly. Might be able to find an adaptor. and skip the reflare. The p-n's I had were to directly join the two lines going into the the ABS unit.

Just spoke with my local NAPA. The WEA numbers are correct.

WEA7917 is $4.99
WEA7828 is $6.80 (and is in stock surprisingly)

They should have them in the Weatherhead box. It may not show on the website, I know a lot of stuff doesn't. The napaonline site has gone to crap in the last year or 2.
Maybe call and ask, it should show up in their computer.

so, i went and bought the two fittings today, and i know where the abs deal is, but how do you manage to do this without buying line or flanging stuff? considering the two fittings i got have holes in them :?

You should be able to remove the 2 lines from the valve, remove the valve, screw the 2 fittings together and put the lines in the new fittings. It doesn't sound too hard to me, but I did mine a different way, so what do I know? ;)
