Dyno Tips for the Newbie!

I'm going to dyno on saturday, my first time. What tips can you guys give me to get good readings. How to start, what gear, etc. I barely have a clue! :roll:

Dyno in the highest gear you have, start it at 1000 and gradually keep bringing it up faster and faster till you hit about 1500, then mat it and hope for the best. 8)

Thanks KTA. Do you think I need to drag the brakes to build boost? I've heard people say that.

Only with a poor spooling setup. I doubt you'll have a problem there. Most say dyno in the top gear (OD) on a dynojet. On a mustang dyno in direct drive (1:1). I've never been on a mustang dyno before, so I can't say.
