VE Pump Domination.

Postby Ram360man » Sat Jul 30, 2011 3:53 pm

Won the 8000lb modified diesel class at a local county fair today. Good thing I was the only truck to show up. Hanged 300 lbs up front. 200 in the cab and another 500 in the toolbox. Weighed in at 6850. Started in first and bumped it up into 2nd due to it being a rather loose track. Truck didn't like it and ran about 2000 rpm and 15 mph down the track. Rules said no suspension stops so it squated really bad. Front end came way up and I guess my drivers side tire got some air time. Felt pretty cool and was a lot better then my first pull. Ended up spinning out at 210 ft. Won a trophy and my 45 dollar entry fee back. Mainly did it for the fun and learning experience.

Holly drivetrain shock. Use to have a boy in a PSD around here that use to like grabbing gears pulling. He never could figure out why he blew universals, transmissions and transfer cases out every other pull.

I see that now. The little screen on my phone makes it hard to see the sigs.

Just got 2nd out of 2 trucks at another fair today. LOL. Had good momentum then I popped a boot and everything just stopped. 175 ft. Hung 700 lbs up front and 200 lbs in the cab for 6900 lbs. First place was a 08 ford F350 that supposedly makes 650 hp. He went 210. Got a trophy and 20 bucks though. ;)
