Well I finally made some better numbers. Once I get the dyno sheet in the correct format and size I will post it, but while you are all waiting here is the video of the run. Maybe all of that work on the test stand paid off.

That's a big number. 8)

:edit: fuel only question answered elsewhere. Considering the nitrous doesnt add any fuel, just oxygen to the mix, what was your mix of water/meth? Did you actually get fuel out of it that high up, or do you think the meth helped out a lot?

And what happened to the usual VE torque=double the HP? Too big of turbos or secret way to keep it fueling up top? Or both? Neither?

It was Snow Performance boost juice that has 49% meth. We did some modifications to the pump when we had it on the test stand, but we didn’t get any results when we tested it. I only dynoed 641hp last time I was on this same dyno so I think we must have gained something with all of our modifications when it got put back on the pickup.
The reason we are not getting 2:1 on the torque is I’m not making peak power until 3K rpms or so. With some tuning I am hoping to get that down a bit before the next dyno on November 5th. That is the date for the grudge match between Jason Sands and me.

I realized you weren't putting down the power until later in the RPM range, I was just wondering why? The HX40 isn't really that large of a turbo, so I can't imagine lag being a reason. Have you found yourself having to make low end fueling sacrifices to get the power up top? Has your twin setup changed from what's in your sig?

Is it as simple as advanced timing to take advantage of the fueling up top hurting your bottom end?
