Actually, I apparently was asleep at the wheel AND slow out of the hole (compared).

Compared to what I used to get with my old 92 Plymouth Laser RS it is a good reaction time. When I was younger, dumber and didn't realize I needed 3500 rpm or so to launch it, I would routinely bog the shti out of it.

Nice!

Isn't a 7.99 good for 11's in the 1/4?

The on-line calculators available at the Wallace Racing Calculators say it's good for 12.5. I personally don't believe that and think a high 12.6 if not a 12.7 would be more realistic. In my mess, the air density has a big influence on a given day at the track.

With a weak 60ft and a 7.99 in the 1/8 it has netted me a 12.43.
