Looks and sounds sweet man!

Do you have an auto or manual? Dyno in OD or direct gear?

It's got an NV4500. I wasn't allowed to drive it and he ran it in fourth. I don't know what's best, I've heard the more load the truck is under the better power. You'd think that in fifth the load would be increased but I don't know.

You had to pull the duals? Looks like there is plenty of room on htere for them. 5th is way more load. Some operators don't have a clue.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I decided to pull the duals, that's a little less weight and it only took me about 5 minutes to pull them. I wish I would've gotten on the dyno beside me, I liked that guy a lot more but the dyno was in use when it was my turn. There's always another day to dyno.

Yes! Me too. I spoke with him for an hour outside my hotel at SDX. I vaugely knew who he was at the time, but at least I didn't make a fool of myself  I may have been feeling extra chipper by next year and embarassed myself on that dyno

I really wish I did. I have searched forever trying to find what size they are. It's like they're hiding it. They fuel great but are smokey and hot.

I think they are DDP3's and IIRC Kasper Cummins found that they are 5x13s, but he's changed his sig somewhat recently

Wouldn't running in a gear besides 1:1 screw with the readings? I get that it loads it more, but wouldn't the gearing mess with anything? If they're taking a tach signal off the engine it may not, but something will be off at the wheels. :?

Depends on the dyno.

An inertia dyno calculates your HP based on the fact of how fast you accelerate the drum, which is a set weight. In OD, you can build boost and hold the boost longer to help get a nice power curve.

A load cell dyno applies a brake to help change the load. The more brake, the more load. Those are best run in 1:1 as the brake can be changed to help find your best HP.

Torque is calculated from the HP @ certain RPM. That needs a pick-up signal.
