1stgen pulling thread

Postby pulltilbroke » Fri Aug 03, 2012 1:16 am

Figured we could use a thread like this so we don't clutter up other peoples threads with pull results and what not.

Hooked mine again tonight, Woulda ended up 2nd but had a little carnage and got DQd for puttin pars on the track. Tonight I was running bars blocks and hangin weights. It was a short tack and they had the sled set Heavy.

Even though we tore it up and got DQd I am very pleased with how it ran. I put 15ft on the guy behind me and was only 6ft off the leader when she broke. I think I coulda got the winner but..........

You cant beat BFG's for pulling on most tracks.

Yep. All the big dogs seem to run BFGs AT. My newer set of tires are a little more aggressive than that.

Andrew, I wish they hhad a class I could hang weights in. Would make it a little more fun.

Ive got a local track that most guys swear by sts's, but its a loose track.

funny how the AT's find a new niche even after being around for a lonnnggg time

thinking of trying some from these guys... the 94 needs tires, might run these on the drive tires, regular BFG's on the front

Mine are 3/4" or 7/8" U-bolts bolted to the skid plate and a cross member halfway between the axles and the cab.

Looked like your suspension setup worked well that night, at least alot better than some of the other times. I was sitting up in the stands with my girlfriend and Danny McCullock (welding teacher in Lincoln, He said he knew you and was tellin us storys about you,
