Black Sheep build thread

Postby blacksheep » Sun Mar 09, 2014 8:50 pm

I bought a 1991 d250 2wd auto that did not run. had a popped headgasket. and was bought to transform it into a drag truck. the goal is for it to look like sthi on the outside, and to drop jaws when it launches off the line. this will be the build thread. the goal is to have it finished by may 10th for the dyno for dex event in tulsa, ok. gives me 2 months to have it finished.

pics of when i picked it up yesterday morning

no im from Arkansas, but was friends with dex who was very well known. its the second annual dyno for dex event, and will be at the tulsa raceway park. the racing will be friendly races, pretty much just like the midnight races but be all day long, into the midnight drags. gonna be a great time. all proceeds will be put in the dex's racer relief fund.
