From a stop with no boost, it will light around 25 I think. When it's wet out it'll break the tires loose up to around 55 mph. Doesn't spin much at all on dry unless I'm boosting in 2wd or turning.

Sounds fun to me! With so much static timing what kind of mpg you get? What times have you run at the drags?

I don't check the mpg, I'd probably cry. :D But I'd guess maybe 10-12 based on miles per tank. I haven't had a chance to run it, I resealed the engine and did a cam swap this spring and it hasn't run right since.

Edit, it could max the speedo before I hit 1/4 mile on a section of road I used a rangefinder to determine the distance. Not really official I know.

I hear you on that! Just think of the GPM you'd get with a 450 rwhp gas-job  Always makes me feel better anyway. What lift/duration cam? By not running right, it spools the turbo slower?

Spools slow, runs hot and smokey, leaks worse than before, valve lash changes when I drive. I've been really lacking the motivation to fix it so it's been sitting a few months.

Nope I threw them in a pile when I took them out. I put in new tappets though so they couldn't go back in the same ones anyways.

Oh ok. I don't have the experience to know any direct cause of the issues you spoke of, but worn/used pushrods with new cam and tappets (new everything except pushrods) can cause odd break-in/wear on a new cam. It may possibly be cam wear?

I wonder if, because used pushrods might need looser/tighter lash, for lash to read correctly (or lash correctly), the rocker is taking up excess slack? Thus the lash issue? My last post sounds funky....

I understand its not fun to hold a camera while making a run, so has anyone just timed their 0-anything runs?

12.1 - 12.5 0-60 for me.

I've used a stopwatch and timed a couple 0-60 in about 6 or so seconds.

Fatty has sent me a couple vids........his truck moves out quick! It would whoop up all over the Ramcharger in its quickest days. As I have a manual, and he'd be doing 40mph and I'd still be trying to get into 3rd at 25mph.
