scs 3-speed

does anyone have experience with the SCS 3-speed gearboxes.
and the company as a whole.

SCS makes good quality stuff. I have had good results with theirs and Pro-fab's stuff. I think Pro-fab is easier to deal with, is no doubt cheaper, but the SCS stuff is probably a bit better quality.

ive looked at both companys products, but the problem is they both look well made haha
I think i'll give them both a call and see what i come up with.

no go on those trannys
i am needing something for drag purposes i didnt know you could not shift those transmissions on the fly.
i was wanting to stay away from an auto, but may have to go that route.

I thought you were looking for something for a puller. I could have told you those were not designed to shift on the fly. If you want that you need a Bruno or a Lenco. They can be setup either with a slipper clutch like a crower, a conventional pedal clutch, or a torque converter. They can be shifted on the fly and with the right setup and parts can withstand a ton of abuse.
