Denso vs. Bosch Inline pumps?

Postby Fnschlaud4620 » Mon Mar 10, 2008 9:00 pm

Which pump can give the best performance?

I heard some pullers running Denso pumps so I am just curious.

I know we have a Denso on our old 4960 Deere, it runs great. Can you take a pump from a Deere and run it on a Cummins?

I have also seen those 8.3 Cummins Denso marine pumps on E-bay any good?

pros? cons?

potential/money?

Thanks

Scheid prefers the EP9 Nipp over the Bosch P7100 because of higher injection pressures. Other than the timing cover hole size being diffrent and the fact that your 4960 is Electronic controlled yeah you could put the pump off it on a 5.9 Cummins.
