Anybody know what the horsepower record is on a VE running just a Cummins piston lift pump? Either first gen or second gen lift pump?
Where do they start limiting things?

I don't see why a second gen LP with a bypass reg. wouldn't be just as effective as a fass other than inlet/outlet restrictions. The actual design is pretty superior for reliability and increased volume with RPM.

i think thats asking alot, the only people that probly have that info is cummins

Somebody's got to know the numbers?
Couldn't you multiply the piston volume by it's strokes-per-minute to get total fuel-flow-per-minute? At least a reasonable approximation?

do you know how many variables there are?
lines pick-ups regulators filter temp etc
all these things will effect the number you are asking about
