I am having diffuculty posting and logging on. :roll:
Brian my dad has a Clark(?) 5 spd tranny used in 70s and 80s GMC 70 and 80 series trucks. I guess it has 20% over and it has been sitting in his basement for 10+ years now.........totally rebuilt.
92 W250 ext cab, 5spd, SPS 62/71/14, ATS 3 piece, Banks 3G intake, Icebox CAI, DDP #4+, timing 1.95 mm, SB 4 puck FE, PDR fuel pin, Hellmann intercooler, Snow water/meth, 60# springs, stock long block, D80 3.54 w/disks, 455+/1005 uncorrected, 13.34@102 7-06; 472 fuel/520 water/meth uncorrected 5-08

I now have a transmission, axle, and transfer case in the gargage awaiting installation. Hopefully it wont be too cold of a winter and I can get some stuff put together. 8)

you find one in central florida and i can go take a look at it Brian, are they 7 speed spicers manual trannies??? ever thought of running two VE pumps into dual feed injectors??? kind of like the 12 cylinder p-pump guys do, just build a custom front plate for the truck and run one on each side of the block......i would like to build an open/SS truck also, just got to find a 4x4 F700 or 800 ford and get everything from the bell housing to the lugnuts and bolt them under my truck.......

what would the point be, besides the cool factor seems like a lot of money might as well go to a p pump

Nope, no twin VE's for me, its RPM limitation is too detractive for a pulling/race application only.
