Hmmm, he apperently does not want to discuss your question, Bill. :( I wish I had a pile of money and I'd build a first gen puller. Witha 14mm pump, a big turbo and a getrag.

Sigma Power 8) Or it might be a common rail if my electronics gurus come up with a good standalone adjustable controller. Right now it is still a box stock 350,000mile 12mmVE with a 21 hsg. Its a real power house. LOL I am also looking into using an inline pump off a big yellow motor since I can get them cheap in the bone yard, just dont know about getting it to fit in the truck. I still havent been able to locate the trans I want or the rear suspension I am looking for so the project is still in parts gathering phase. :(

Brian, what trans are you looking for?
On another note; had to bandaid fix my pump for the time being until I get a better time frame.

I am looking for a Fuller Tx14607-B. On a side note I saw somewhere in your sig you were at 440rwhp? was that #2 only or on the water meth. If #2 only congrats I hadnt realized you had gotten up that high recently. All hail GLHS the greatest 1gen drag racer!! 8)

LOL Yeah right. :) Wish I had your power and trap speed Brian!
I dynoed 455 at Edges Superflow in Utah. That was with the water/meth but, since I did the Bandaid fix I ground off the afc lever and picked up a solid 3 psi. so I'm thinking it could be right at 400 to the rear now on #2. When Bandimere opens up I'll try some runs on fuel only.
The transmission; is that a 5 speed? If so, is 5th direct or over?

Its a seven speed overdrive trans. You may not have the power or trap speed but you are still quicker. I might blow your doors off at the line but you would get there first. :) I really need to figure a way to get my 60foots back in the 2.2sec range. Since the twins i run a 2.8-3.2 and it kills my times. :(

Brian, what class are you building for? That tranny is considered non-oem drivetrain right? Let me know what type of trucks it's in, a good and or core price and I'll look around.

It would be for open class or super street, its really just something for me to play with and have fun more than being competitive. I dont intend to run mine hard enough to split engine blocks all the time. I just want something that will keep up with the street Duramaxes, you know about 1200rwhp or so. 8)
The standard price on one of those trans is about $800. I have seen a couple listed at some salvage yards but they are always in Fl or Oregon or something, freight would be as much$$$ as the trans. I find them in some Macks, and alot of Big Fords.
