Ouuch!!! Did you get a HP number for the last run there ? I'd say you certainly got a ton of fuel!!! Who did you 6x16's?

I think this winter I too am gonna build an air shut off for my twins. I've got the room, so I might as well.

Josh, how did they shut it down?

Bill, check with these guys. They make different sizes, might work for you.

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Bill, they are a Scheid set. It only made 475 on the last (4th) run, things were starting to get hot.

PToombs, the rotor seized up, im actually kinda thankful it did too. My memory tack recalled 4600rpm. And im currently looking for a economical air shut off as well.

Once again, the only injectors making good VE power are one of two places.

I think you might be the only one to break 500hp with a single turbo in the VE world... ? Congrads!

That's crazy power on a single, and that runaway was pretty nasty too. Any idea why it took off like that? Congrats on pushing the envelope, hope you get er back together soon!

For those that say the 14mm/4mm combo doesn't like rpm, hmm maybe 4500 is the limit, any higher and it grenades itself   .

That run has me scared..I'd say this is $100 well spent....

I have a feeling I am going to runaway (ha get it?) and get one as soon as I can.

My freind with a 2nd gen pullin truck uses a company called Blast Gate company, they make slide gates for vac. system's. The gates are like 15 bucks and 2 springs from the hardware store oh and a choke cable makes for a cheap setup. They have many sizes too.

I never put the link in the post!

We have these on the exhaust system at work. The slides are kinda cheesy, but good enough to shut off the air. Wouldn't be hard to put on a cable.

Thanks everybody, my next step is gonna be a bigger charger and some water. Believe it or not i had enuff fuel running through the truck that it actually brought the egt's back down to a certain point...lol...but water still works alot better.

She is currently sitting in the barn with no ip. The new one is in the works but instead of running a 4mm camplate im goin to run some experimental DV's to compensate for the fuel loss. With a single charger ill never need more then 300-350 cc's anyways.

i was looking at that video and i think theres alot more power left in there, just by judging all of the unburnt fuel. 8)
Any plans for twins, and a new 14mm h&r pump?

Seeing your video and post has made me want to get my big pump going, but im afraid of blowin the head through the hood.
Didnt KTA run a 14mm H&r with stock HG?
