I will throw some numbers at you.
Most autos will get into the 12s if they can trap 102 mph.
A manual will need 2-4 more mph to do the same.
Elevens are a different story. I think most autos need 112 and a manual will probably need 116-119 mph.
Here is the FLYWHEEL hp needed to trap these speeds at this weight. I think my rwhp is 15% less than crank hp. An auto may be different.
5000 lbs (includes driver): 90mph=284 hp; 95mph=335; 100mph=390; 105mph=452; 110mph=519; 115mph=593.
6000 lbs: 90mph=341; 95mph=401; 100mph=468; 105mph=542; 110=623; 115mph=712.
7000 lbs: 90mph=398; 95mph=468; 100mph=546; 105mph=632; 110mph=727; 115mph=831
Brian; what did your truck weigh when you went 110? 6900?
My truck wieghed 6500 when I went ALMOST 104 which = 570.
If the Scheid dragster weighs 2000 lbs (I bet it's more) it takes 1305 hp to go 203 in the 1/4.
If it wieghs 2250 @ 203 mph = 1468 hp.
