Typically those tractors run 200+psi, they can take a lot more cylinder pressure than the 6B can because they are wet sleeved and much heavier built. Those blocks do typicaly break along the cam, bore though as that is a weak area. The Deere blocks break the same place.

some cummins run up to 110psi+(maby more?), when fully biult, but i think stock they split around 90psi but it depends on wear i guess
but 200psi thats awsome, i guess that hx82 is a huge smoken turbo

Of course some versions of HX82's can be run as singles on the 5.9. :)

Yeah, that would be the biggest turbo I've ever seen as a single in a pick-up...

It is not as big as it looks, at least not wheel size anyway. It spools fine in a sled pull application, it would suck on the street though. That is the drive pressure sensor for the datalogger beside the egt.

I'm guessing that truck isn't running a VE pump. Double Overtime (Mod-class 7.3l powered truck) runs two of those in a compound configuration. I'm guessing other mod class trucks run those or something similar to that. Does that truck run in a bushing class or are they running an unlimited single turbo class?

no i dont know much about all the pulling stuff i thought on the street, but i guess in a pull you would be going off the line making a ton of boost, right
