Mopars @ The Rock, 2009

Went to Rockingham International Dragway yesterday and played with a bunch of other diesels during the annual MATR event (a growing NADM presents).

I was able to pull off a new best for my mess with a 13.67 in the quarter. I was able to back that up with a 13.63. An hour later, My heap was able to go to a 13.54. An hour later, I was again able to back that up with a 13.59.

(Asleep at the tree  )

With this being a 1/4 mile track, I had a few seconds to be able to see and read the gauges to find that, at the top of the last run ~

- EGTs ~ 1400*F.
- Boost ~ 55 psig.
- Engine RPMs ~ 2800 ~ 3000 RPMs.
[1993 W250 clubcab @ 6400lbs (+/-). A518 non lock-up, 3.5x gearing and 305/70 (33") street radials].

My grin muscles hurt. :D
