i would suggest save your money, grind your own. put in a 366 governor spring .while your at it grind some off the afc lever. there is info and pics on several sites to do it. dtr has good pics.

Dennis is on www.dieseltruckresource.com

You have to sign up over there and shoot member DennyT a PM. They are $105 to your door.

As far as a stock ground fuel "cone" being better, I think the DennyT is better than even a heavily ground one, but you can certainly grind your own for some more performance.

Here is a DennyT vs. a stock ground cone...

yea, i agree.. a buddy of mine has one in his ole farm truck, he ground his own and decided to try out some aftermarket ones and liked em a lot better. i guess it could depend on how good you are with the grinder

If you grind off the AFC lever, there's no need to grind the fuel pin as you've just made the fuel pin useless. The AFC and the fuel pin work in conjunction to regulate fueling with boost.

That makes more sense then. I was reading your previous post as remove the AFC foot then grind the fuel pin.

ive tried alot of things with the afc and found better performance with the afc working, tuned properly. it may just be my elavation. we run another 1st gen with an auto, it will spool a little better with a different set-up. i dont have a problem with aftermarket pins. im pretty cheap
