400HP Pulling Class

Postby RSWORDS » Tue Jun 30, 2009 4:10 pm

there is a local pull that is having a 400HP and under class... Guy says he is going to eye ball the truck at tech to determine what he thinks it makes. And if you get out there and he thinks you run too good you get DQ'ed...

Show him the dyno sheet, and if he doesn't like it, tell him to get bent! ;)

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

Heck, he should just require everyone to pull in first gear-low for autos, and 2nd low for manuals. Should be a fun show.......

I do love the tech method too. One time we had a no smoke class. That was fun to watch.......

instead of limiting horse power they should make you run a crap tire, stock suspension, and a weight limit.

we use to have a open wheeled dirt track class that would allow you to run any motor you wanted, but you had to make weight, have either leaf or mono leaf suspension, and run their hard skinny junk designed tire. The big motor guys usually lost, it was a nice cheaper class.
