Where can I get a 'full spool'? I didn't see one on Randy's ring and pinion site, only a 'mini-spool'.

The Pow'r Lok diff in our trucks is called that because the more power you apply, the tighter it clamps the clutch packs.

If your dad's is dragging in turns, dump a bottle of limited slip additive into the rear.

I thought about that. It's just straight royal purple gear lube right now I believe. Thanks Dave

If you're at the strip, just get some slicks. They'll hook about 100% better even if it is an open diff.

Pulled the 6 and crossmember, put in a 340. Built the trans up, couple trick parts. I drove it for almost a week, then crunch, grind, clunk clunk clunk! I did get it to go 1 more mile towards home though. Then I pulled the 8.75 out of a van and put in. It grabbed good, but looked like a frog! :alien: The wheels stuck half way out of the wells! ;)

Paid $550 shipped for a Dana 70HD (35 spline shafts) with the Detroit already installed. Oh and it came with SHOT wheel bearings and races   :bh: .

Now you know my number and can call it anytime. Bill.
