I don't know what you are running for compression, but I would bump the timing up another 6 degrees at least and go from there. You still might find you need to back the fuel off some more at that point but it should be alot stronger. I find 34-36 with the light is a good place to be for a 2.6 engine and compressions in the 14.5-15.5 range. Guess it is time to put a big shaft NV4500 in there!

4500 is rebuilt, waiting to go in.

It is stock comp. except for .020 HG. Can't really go higher on the timing and still be in the bowl. We have a to do list for the winter.
