I don't know what you are running for compression, but I would bump the timing up another 6 degrees at least and go from there. You still might find you need to back the fuel off some more at that point but it should be alot stronger. I find 34-36 with the light is a good place to be for a 2.6 engine and compressions in the 14.5-15.5 range. Guess it is time to put a big shaft NV4500 in there!
