I am curious

How do I go about dynoin my truck?

At max rpm of 3300 I can get about 61 mph out of it.

Auto no overdrive. - but the trans aint stock by any means.

Sounds liek ya gotta be doin like a hundred mph to get anything on oen o these dynos

Start at a fairly low rpm, ride the brake hard untill it starts to spool and let it fly. Sounds like you will have a hard time loading it hard enough but that's all ya can do.

so if i were to switch out to a lot taller tire might be good like a set of 35 or 38's?

would be a lot more load if thats the name of the game?

The bigger the tire the more rotating mass stopping you from acclerating the drum and bigger tires are usually aggresive tread witch have more rolling resistance. If you can't get close to street boost then try bigger tires but untill then try some street 33's or so.

523hp with a laggy torque number of 930ish IIRC. Still needs tuning and a smaller top charger. I'll post a new thread about the setup and my thoughts etc when I get some time. No longer have a computer at home, only this one at work, with limited time to use, ie when the boss ain't looking  .

I had mine on the rollers as well. Put down 338/784 with the wrong speed control in the pump. I will post some videos later of Bills', Matts' and my runs.

Just got back from Weekend on the Edge in Ogden UT; elevation 4500'. I ran on their SuperFlow dyno.
Made 2 runs on diesel then 2 with water/meth.
Second run netted 452/948 3rd run made 494/1014.
I guess my uncorrected numbers from May Madness in Pahrump (2600') ealier this year were pretty accurate. 472 hp diesel and 510 water/meth.
Now if I could just get the Getrag to shift better.
I almost got 104 mph trap speed this time.
Time to do some research on the NV4500 swap.

FWIW my Getrag truck shifts faster than my NV4500 truck. I would just swap to a lockup TC auto than you can be smoking fast. 8)

Brian; us racing stick shifters are a dying breed. Trying to keep it going. :D
My Getrag used to shift very fast; but it has made too many passes to be fast anymore although, I am tempted to go auto.
Feel free to delete my babble if needed.
