I just did my first dyno run ever. I ran 297 horses and 781 foot pounds of torque. I was very happy with those numbers cause I have the 727 with stock converter. I thought I would be lucky to get 250 or 260. I went after a stock rag truck and he was 166 hp with a non i/c truck so I think the dyno was right on. Its funny cause the graph is a straight line due to converter slop.

careful with that hx40 building that much boost, they dont like it. What is your exhaust temps like?

Got some new numbers . . . .

405/840 on #2 and 405/900 with W/M (uncorrected). :)

I gotta retune the W/M and maybe add a wee bit more IP advance. :o

I just dyno'd my truck again. Since the last time I have removed my AFC lever, put the ksb on a switch, cleaned my injector tips, and gained about a half inch of throttle lever travel that I had been missing before. This time I was on a dynojet with 0% correction factor and the truck was dyno'd in fifth gear. On the third run I had the water methanol on with the pressure switch set at 20 psi and a a 60/40 mix of water and methanol. This is with stock sticks. I know you aren't supposed to be able to make this kinda power with stock sticks, but this is what the dyno said today.
On fuel only it put down 388HP and 923TQ
With the meth on it made 436HP and 968TQ
Here's the sheet and three video's of the runs. The w/m was only on in the last run.

Gearjammer, where'd you dyno at? Congrats on the good numbers. Your trucks running pretty good now, especially for the stock injectors.

I dyno'd on english racing's dyno. They mostly build really fast turbo eclipse's and stuff like that, but they got a dyno and posted up on NWbombers that they were gonna be having an open dyno all weekend. The dyno's over in orchards off of 205. I'm really impressed with the numbers I've been able to lay down so far, someday when I get a new head and have it o-ringed and finally get some bigger sticks I'm gonna try for 400HP on fuel only.

dynoed on sat. superflow. just swapped on he-351.

364 hp/ 40+ psi boost 1350 egt

rotated fuel pin to shallow side, tow/economy set up made 331 at 38 /boost about 1150 egt. the he cools far better than hx. rumor was the dyno read a little low. no other 1st gen broke 300 hp. take it for what its worth i guess. i cant seem to dyno very high.
