I wanted to see that other truck, as I heard it was nice from what people saw of it pulling in. I just wasn't up for paying extra to get into the dragstrip. They need to work out a deal on the tickets to include dragstrip entrance next year.

Thanks for the G56 link, I'll check it out.

I also want to do something with either the wheels, or the tires on my truck. Possibly either have the stock wheels widened to 8" to better fit the 285/75's or go to a 255/85 on the stock 6" wheels. I bought the truck with these tires on it, and like them, but am not sold on the "285 squeezed onto a 6" wheel" look...lol

dynoed on saturday. 306/598. Boost was down about 4psi and found the wastegate tube blown in pieces after (it normally runs 35 psi, was only 31 for the pull, some obvious leakage so the numbers are a little low, I'd guess I'm 20 low on HP and 30 TQ), only pulling to 3200 RPM (no valve springs yet) on a dynojet, uncorrected at 5300'. I'm happy with stock HPCR numbers with my setup. Never seen 1200* on the EGT and it cleans up really nicely as soon as the turbo lights. It's my driver/tow rig and gets low 20's for mileage empty and high teens towing my open car trailer and race car. Looking at others here, I think I might add water/meth and a 60mm wheel and call it a day. And for a driver, the WH1C/HX35 is a sweet street snail.
1991.5 RCLB 4x4 LE Rag w/ 3.54's 200,000+ miles, original denny T, WH1C, P/S I/C with coolertubz, pump turned up slightly, DDP stage 1's, gauges (lots of em). Custom Anti-Rusting-undercarriage 15/40 coating provided by leaky timing cover. 306 HP / 599 TQ.

Best of 274/503 today.

- Typical VE stuff (3200 spring, fuel screw pretty far in, stock pin rotated to the deep side)
- 2nd gen intercooler (originally non-intercooled)
- HX35
- Cummins low pressure piston lift pump
- 260k mile 727 (original according to the previous owner who put 230k on it)

Hasn't melted or exploded
