Thanks. No correction factor (made sure of that).

About a year ago, It put down 405/840 on #2 with DDP4 injectors. I've since added 6x.016 Shied EDMs, a Hamilton 181/210 cam and a big Hellman IC. I thought the torque would have been higher but I've also advanced the injection timing quite a bit.

Lately, I've been dinking around with the governor spring. Thinking of pulling the IP this winter and going through it seeing as it's the only thing I've not been in. We'll see. ;)

( Admins - If this doesn't count as a dyno run - please move it to the GTech post )

I know this isn't a REAL dyno run ( it's my GTech ) but it's the first time I've measured the truck and am pleased with the results.
I think the #'s might be a touch low because I've got the weight entered as 6325 - which it is with 1/2 tank fuel and me...
Then I noticed I've got 2 complete turbos and 1 partial turbo plus 2 toolboxes ~ 20 lb ea that I normally don't carry in the truck. And 2 5 gal cans of diesel.
Probably an extra 125 lbs - I'm sure that threw off the calculations.

Anyhoo - here 'tis

Nice numbers. But I wonder have you actualy weighed your truck? 6300 seems aweful heavy for a D250. My D350 crew cab only weighs 5800, and my Club cab LE W350 with toolbox is 6300lb. I wouldn't think your truck would be near that heavy unless you had a lot of stuff in it.

Well, I finaly dynoed today on a dyno that has earned the name Dreamcrusher. I didn't get the numbers I was hoping for but I did find that I have a very flat hp and tq curve from 2200-3700. I'll have the graph up later.

It was a Mustang SE 1750 load style dyno

My numbers were
307.1 672.4 uncorrected
316.5 693 corrected

302.4 668.2 uncorrected
312.3 690.4 corrected

294.8 665.1 uncorrected
304.4 687 corrected

Nice job, looks like you need a turbo and some injectors.

Do you have an intercooler on it yet? Is your pump pushed up to the head? If you've done both of those things then I agree with soggy.

Yes I got a 2nd gen cooler in it, I could put a little more timing to it.

I don't want to swap injectors til I beat your numbers  AFAIK you've made the most on a set of stock N/IC'd sticks. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I didn't know I was setting a new record. I did pull my injectors and clean the tips in carb clean before I got those numbers. The other thing I did, that I felt really helped, was to grind some of the afc housing off right were the throttle linkage passes by it. I found that the throttle rod was hitting the side of the pump before I was getting full travel out of the throttle shaft on the pump. I also had to modify a metal piece that connects the throttle cable to the throttle rod. There is a pivot at the point where the two come together, and there is a stop in the pivot that limits throttle travel. Of course you also need to throw away your high idle screw, they are not needed. After doing all that I could hit 4k in gear, in my truck with the 3200 rpm spring. I only did it once, and it was an accident. Hopefully some of that will get you some more power, also try dynoing real close to sea level on a cool day. I don't think that I actually had my pump pushed up to the head on that day either. Good luck, and good dynoing. ;)

also, if your not getting a full 121 gigawats to your flux capacitor, it isn't going to allow for the maximum power output.

Thanks for the advice, thing is I've done a lot of what you said. I'm gonna try and do a few things with the fuel system and do a little tuning and hit it again in May in Rapid City SD and see what happens also have another dyno day in Kearney NE in july too.

I will check and see if we are getting the full 121 gigawatts of power to the flux capacitor also

Here is the list of mods on my truck currently

90 CTD if you didn't know already
Stock N/IC sticks,Holley Black, DennyT, timing to the head, 5turns fuel(edge of runaway), stock lines and filter, H1c with 60mm comp, 16cm housing,4" exhaust, modified stock airbox with aFe progard 7,2nd gen IC with 3" tubes and a 24v horn, grid deleted,354 gov spring(4200) KSB disconnected, no hi idle screw, good clutch, nv4500, 3.54s and I had 265s on when I dynoed.

I think I just got lucky and hit the right combo. I think the only things I had different on my truck were the turbo, I was running a super 40, the lift pump, I had a low pressure mechanical pump, and I had my afc lever pulled. I don't know enough about turbo's to know how a super 40 compares the setup you've put together, I also never had a fuel pressure gauge, so I don't know how the low pressure piston pump compares to the holley. The afc lever removal, I was told was good for a few horse power. The smoke was ridiculous, I was going to put the afc back in before I sold the truck, but I never got around to it. I miss that truck alot sometimes. I just put $535 into the front end of my 96, and on the way home today the heater core took a crap.

I was surprised at how much throttle travel I was missing when I finally checked it, so look at that one close. I had to space my pedal mount off the floor with a couple small nuts, and bend the top of the pedal were the cable connects, to take advantage of all the travel that the was available at the pump.

From what I've heard the HTT stg IV is the same Compressor side as a super 40, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I check throttle travel on a weekly basis almost, I have also moved the linkage to the inner hole and I have adjusted the pedal also.

What kinda mileage did you see with the AFC lever removed?
