Went racing last night. For some reason, I took the crew cab instead of my SRT4. Noticed as soon as I got there that the steering box was falling off the frame again (it was doing this when I got the truck, and i used loctite putting it back together). Managed to get 2 of the 3 bolts tightened up without much effort and called it good enough. Got 8 runs in, most of which were figuring out a way to launch it. Seems I could either bog it or blow the tires off...there wasn't much in between. Here's the best-

Pulled a bunch of 17.1's. Put another 1/2 turn on the fuel screw, and went 16.99. Let it sit for about 30 mins and then pulled 16.54. This was done with a HX35, POD's, banks ic, 4" staight pipe, about 3.5 turns on the fuel screw, turned fuel pin, bhaf, NV4500 and 3.54 gears with 315 tires. I would guess the weight somewhere around 6800, and who knows the hp. I'm satisfied with the results, but don't think I'll be trying it again. The track workers didn't like my leaky truck, and every launch I was waiting for the D60 rear to grenade all over the start line.
