http://www.jedsmachining.com personal friend of mine, and in my opinion the strongest design out there. his website is minimal, but he will build to suit. he has built a pile of them for our wheeling club and withstand serious abuse. give jed a call and he'll fix you up.

The issue we run into is the 29 spline output on the manual trans output shaft. you can get a custom spud shaft that goes from 29 spline female to 31 spline make (advanced adapters makes one)and then use a 203 from a ford with a 31 spine female input. then you need a different 205 case also as the dodge 29 spline 205 has the race track bolt patteren under the getrag adapter. I have to dig up my research on this.. it is possible with some custom parts and lots of swapping. this is for a 203 /205 doubler. if you are doing a dodge auto the 23 spline 203 is a asy doubler job. Also I have heard of people doing 203 adapted to nv271s also so you get the stronger case but no twin stsick fwd only option...
Some times the cost of maching, adapters, and other parts cases makes it affordable to step up to a Stak 3 speed transfer case or some thing similar..

Since your truck is a 2wd remember they did make divorced 203's and they are rare so a divorced 203 adapted to a 205 or NV271 /273 would be nice. ..The divorced NV273's are in 4x4 Chevy /GMC 4500-5500's they are pass drop too. you can modify the electric shift 273's to manual shift also. I'd seriously look at the divorced transfer case option with your 2WD.
Thanks,
Deo

another idea is using a auto 23spline transfercase with a 23 spine male 203 and this adapter from Second Hand Smoke http://shop.shsdiesel.com/23-spline-to- ... PLER.htm... might worked out as the auto trucks can do th edoubler alot easier. etc
