I've put some in before and test drove the vehicle after install and it wasn't all that noticable. Granted a few were xcab trucks and half ton and one short bed V6 ford(I thought why bother  but couldn't pass up install money ".

Well I am running a well used set of tires to check it out..
33 x 12.50 16.5
This summer I will have to get new tires.. I am not sure yet if I will stay with the 16.5 or go back to 87 wagon wheel rims and 235/85 16 tires.

I worried about a 20 year old truck breaking .. so I wanted to test this out on old tires.. I do not plan on going to aggressive when I get new tires.. I will let old tires slip and spin till I feel confident with the No-Slip.. then i will deside.. :)

And I will let you know if I break it,,,,,,,,

I think so far it was the best improvment i have made to the old truck

Are you talking Detroits or powertrax. I've rode in a mid 80s crewcab Chevy with a detroit and it made all kinds of noise and was a pain to street drive.

Powertrax. Seemed relatively smooth to me cause like I've said I didn't notice it.

Sure that wasn't the frame flexing and twisting on that chevy
No I've ran on detroit locker and quit honestly, before I spend my money on one,I'd sooner weld the spiders up :yuck:
The one I had worked great at first but clunked when turning and on a wet road you'd better watch out  Turn a curve and have the pucker factor elevated about 10 notches in the drivers set.
The people I'm around or I've installed the powertrax for seem to like them. I've driven some I've done after some mileage was put on them and really felt no diff. But their not cummins powered vehicles either.

That's what that Chevy would do is clunk and pop. It was in a 14 bolt. The truck was a pulling truck with a boxed frame, traction bars and a duramax.

Any aftermarket powr-lok style limited slips available? I may go with a selectable locker it that's the best option. With selectable lockers what better electric or air?

Hey folks, I have a line on a rear end from a 94 2500 V10. I am under the impression this is a D70, but not sure if it has limited slip or not? Its from an AUTO if that makes any difference. Any input?
