I just got done turning up my line pressure in my 727.... what other adjustments can I do to my 727.... sorry newbie.... I did search just couldn't find what I am looking for... thanks

look under cool projects you can do, theres a write up in there on how to adjust your bands and up your line pressure. :D
85 crew cab 1st gen ve pump tweaked a lil. 4:10s auoto o/d gauges boost,pyro. 16cm exhaust housing .285/75/16 nitto terra grapplers,rebuilt a518 w/a decent torque converter.

I think those are all the cheap/free adjustments you can do. Everyone that has an aftermarket converter raves about how much better than stock the aftermarket one is, but that's several hundred bucks. A shift kit may help, but again, it's still over $100.

I have been considering trying the stuff that you did. What did it improve? Shift points? Shift firmness?

Some of the trannys at work use duck tape for adjustments. Oh never mind thats a different kind of tranny. :lol:

I pushed it as far forward as it would go and then put a bolt in it to cheat it. On that throttle bracket, lift the white plastic pawl on the TV cable and push it forward from the fire wall side (towards the radiator).
