Lost 5th, again!

Postby mhuppertz » Fri Mar 30, 2012 11:24 pm

Left New Mexico at 8:30 this morning towing a flatbed to pick up my Dodge Dart in Van Nuys, and lost 5th in Flagstaff... I guess my tack job failed! Hoping it doesn't screw stuff up rattling on the shaft, but I don't have a choice at this point. Driving all the way home at 60MPH tomorrow is going to take about 15 hours!

Umm, what he said. I'd do an Eaton if I had to do it. The 4500, 5600, and even the G56 have not been the fix all. Some one always manages to break one.

I can fix the NV4500, when my Getrag blew there wasn't much left!

Yeah, I'd still take an NV over a Rag.

I've never popped my NV open yet in the 6 years I've owned it.
