I'd stick the rag in it,after it got new bearings and syncros. My reasons being gear control. I've never liked liked leting off throttle and feeling the load push me faster.

Well transfer parts from one to the other, you'll still have two trucks, then you'd be able to sell one ;)

If you convert your 518 to lock up you will need 2nd gen flywheel housing and starter besides the lockup input shaft, 3 ball (lockup) reaction shaft support, and lockup valvebody.
93 w250 6 speed 4" exhaust, caution, work truck, she's no beauty. building 1 ton dually 4x4, dana 80, 48rh, 205 Scratch the one ton, bought frt. dually 4x4 98 12 valve with the tiny rear doors. rides so much better than the 93.

Isn't it amazing what a nice tight transmission feels like? I was shocked at the difference when I did the trans in my '97, it was whipped!

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

I was calling it "The Jet". You leave a light, it winds up to 21-2300rpm, and then it slowly glides away like a plane moving down the runway. It was really bad.
