Yep,temp sensor in the cooler lines

well its not heat that caused my od to kick out, let the truck cool down and still nothin

Could have lost a seal. Are the other shifts more mushy than usual?

i have the od on a switch so no tps, im gonna check on the solenoid tomorow, it still shifts strong, ill deal with it tomorow i tend to break things when i am frustrated

Did you measure the distance between the o/d piston and the needle bearing?

i had the tail housing rebuilt by a tranny guy so i didn't have to deal with the whoop a$$ spring

If the clearance isn't right you could have chewed the lip seals on the o/d piston

sweet, ill check on the selonoid then that clearence, do i have to pull the tranny to pull the tailhousing off or will i be able to do it still in the truck

It should be ok if the splines stay aligned

if the clearance was wrong wouldn't it have failed right away
