I was a RML addict!
My nephew and I used to devour that shti up, back when it was on all the time.

N-V-5-6-0-0! Get one with the oil passages drilled and the updated shafts.

I have a 2wd one that's probably going into a truck with a divorced 205.
Unless I sell it for a king's ransom. ;)

And what would Marks ransom for that puppy be?

Just enough power to break everything behind the crankshaft.

235/16's at 55 on my truck is right at 1600 RPM. 80 MPH is 1900 RPM.

Mine is the .78 OD trans. I wouldn't want the .74 for 3:07's. That would most likely put you at 1550 RPM at 55 MPH.

One thing I haven't aded into my thread. When I pulled my cab I found 2 places the body had be rubbing on the G56. You couldn't see into that area after install. I will be lifting the cab 1" for clearence. On I new install just drop the rear of the trans down. I installed the G56 to the same output shaft height as the 518 I removed.

I dunno, I have an nv5600 sitting on the shop floor waiting to go in my 93. I know they are not cheap to work on, but anytime my brother has broke his g56 in his mild 97 it has been expensive to fix. When one syncro assembly is $1000, and the parts can not be bought individually, its not in my budget.
