tranny mounts

Postby 1990CTD » Wed Dec 05, 2012 7:19 am

On my 90 when its on a strain or hill or turns left the floor rattle and vibrates. I had my dad put in reverse on a hill and i looked under it and the tranny was bouncing a little. The tranny is good I think its the rubber mount on the crossmember. My 98 does same thing. When he put it in neutral it stopped. Need some advise. :?: its an automatic.

most likely worn out rubber mounts. they get soft with age and oil/grease exposure
