Had a SB Con-O in the 92 I had. Worked great! :) Doesn't engage as smooth as a stocker, so i had to re-learn the best way to drive it, vs the stocker in my 99.

IIRC, SB does use some Valair stuff too.

The flywheel MUST be turned at a machine shop! Need to factor turn around time in the clutch job. Could be same day, or longer.

I recommend a new rear main seal while the trans is out. You are in there already, might as well. Won't have to worry about it leaking on your clutch later.

Excellent suggestion on the rear main seal. I replaced mine when replacing the clutch.
I would not even think about not replacing the rear main seal.
I also completely rebuilt the Getrag 360 at the same time.
Result, better than new !.
Another thing to consider is U-joints ?. Of course if your trans and U-joints are good then rear main & clutch is all you need.

Forgot to add---
I went with NEW flywheel (oversize) which included heavy duty oversize pilot bearing, and of course a new thro-out bearing. Like bmoeller said you might as well do it all at the same time as long as you're in there anyway. Why take a chance of having to do it over. I don't know about you but down time is a killer for me.
I know it's a lot to consider. Best of luck.

Heads Up 93MikeB:
Here is a good link for part number and installation of the rear main seal.

http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/ ... p?t=202854

You may have to copy and paste. Sorry
VERY IMPORTANT--- Be sure the surface is DRY & CLEAN before installing new seal. Use BrakeClean....No residue.
When I did mine the local Cummins shop had 5 seals in stock. I was going to buy 2 just in case I spoiled one, but the local Cummins shop is so close to me that opted for one. First one worked good for me. I am sure it will for you too.

don't forget to check crankshaft endplay as well. since thrust bearing wear is a big issue with manual shift trucks. especially if ur over 150k. idk the spec off hand but im sure I could find it in my mess of papers in the garage. and I used a Luk 13" with a new flywheel, a needed upgrade for the 13", on my truck
