Finally!!!
Image
Got it done. :P
Over all impression......I like it. The pedal is much firmer, but not uncomfortable.....yet. I think it'll be bad news in traffic but I usually knock the trans in neutral in that anyhow. The trans shifts a lot better too. That bearing installed where the bushing use to be is one awesome upgrade all by itself. The weird thing here is this.....I know my truck,I know how my motor runs, after 9yrs I know it better than my wife so y'all take this for what its worth. My engine runs smoother,it shuts down smoother,it revs easier....or so it seems. Considering that this clutch and flywheel is about 30 or 40lbs lighter it makes sense that something would free up. Anyone else ever see a difference or heard of anyone elsd with similar experiences

I believe it.... my dual disc made made my truck idle rougher, vibrate more, and lose a tiny bit of low end power. It literally felt like I went with bigger tires..... that extra weight makes a difference. Now with yours being lighter.... that makes sense.

I don't believe it, you're obviously high, Ellis. Drink a beer or 6 and it'll go right back to normal.

Then drink 12 more and it'll magically gain 400HP.

I assume you made the bumper yourself? I like it too, but I think it would keep me from reaching cylinder 6's exhaust valve with my feet flat on the ground.

Yes, I have monkey arms to some degree

I'm pretty sure a lack of sleep was to blame for that. :P

Caleb I have to use the bumper to reach anything farther than the dip stick  I'm barely able to reach the turbo over the pass fender, then again my truck is taller than most 2wd and I'm average height too  5'9" and only get taller in work boots.

Yeah I built that thing and untill something knocks it off it stays. I've busted a couple of deer with it and a few dogs so it has a purpose. I've thought about welding a three inch by twelve inch piece of plate on it somewhere to use as a score board and have some vinyl deer and dog stickers made  .......no I don't aim for them, they just want to run out in front of me.....guess they want some rubbing from the dodge.

RC, I could give you the location of a couple of my ex's that fit that description pretty well, if you really want that bumper.
