what t case will fit?

Havnt done any research,figured id ask to see if anybody knew...I have a 727 with 208 t case,i need to convert it to a driverside drop for my new truck.Is there a 2nd gen 241 model with the same spline count that will bolt to it?

Not sure on the spline count, or shaft diameter, but also need to pay attention to the input shaft length on the 241 cases as well. Some longer than others. There are also the 241 DLD and the 241 DHD.

is it a diesel 727?

IIRC all cummins automatics up til 03 (maybe?) had 23 spline outputs with a coupler and the t-case has a male 23 spline input
1990 W250 getrag, 3.07's, 60k on full rebuild, DAP 5x14's, 12cm WG, 366 spring, 2nd gen IC not hooked up yet

241 has a FEMALE input and no coupler.

The 241 came in several configs as bmoeller said.

23, 29, 31 & 32 spline input shaft
The input shaft also had 2 different lengths depending on the auto or manual transmission application
As far as diameters, I'm not sure?
The bolt pattern on the input side to fasten it to the tranny are the same on all of the 241's though

So ill try a driver side 241 from a 1/2 ton and see if it fits, trial and error i guess, when i pull it apart ill count the splines
