I have ruled out VB to case, filter, and adapter. It's either fluid or internal VB issues in my mind. I'd feel like an idiot if I ran around 2 quarts low for 4 months.

I wouldn't even say this one kicked my azz. I've had this issue and a no O/D problem when I forgot to test the connector before sliding it in. GM stuff consistently kicks my azz, Dodge and Ford stuff seldom does.
