trying to put the getrag i finally got in my 92 w250 but they guy that said hed help me back out the day of. just wondering if theres anyone in the area that would be able to help me out. id really appreciate it. id go to a shop to put it in but i really want to do it myself to learn how to do it.
will be offering money/beer for services obv

Have you heard of the New England Turbo Diesel Forum? It's a bunch of gearheads that meet regularly near Bridgeport Ct. They have members all over the northeast and there may be somebody closer to help you. They have a website also.
The only one from here I can think of that may be close to you would be Alex, I know he's in Mass but not sure where. I haven't seen him post lately so I don't know how often he gets on.
If nobody else chimes in the NETDP boys may be able to help you.
