Can the output shaft of a gm nv4500 work in the dodge nv4500

You mean mainshaft? Count the splines, I'm not sure what all counts they came with, GM stuff is usually 32 spline, could be others. Most Dodge NV's came with 29 spline outputs...

Yes I meant the main shaft.I know the gms came with 32 spline and that'd what I want but what i need to know is if its a direct swap

I don't see why it wouldn't be, but im not positive. Stillsmokin would be the one to ask on that...I know he has done some in depth stuff with NV's and the differences between the early/late, and Dodge and GM versions...
