anyone use a valair heavy duty clutch master and slave ?

Postby jmd4993 » Mon Dec 02, 2013 6:22 pm

i just did a getrag swap and put in a valair dual disc and i was told that the stock master and slave assembly wears out fast with the heavier clutches. but valair has a heavy duty hydraulic assembly but its only for 94+. i called valair and they said that they know that guys have used it on first gens but dont know exactly how.

jw if any one has done this thanks

I called valair and they said that there is no difference between their hydraulic clutch assembly and a stock one except theres has a thick metal line. but all the pressure ratings seals are the same. and you dont need a heavy duty slave to operate the dual discs they said. also the dual disc is not heavier than the stock cast iron clutch so you nothing it different.
