I was told $495. I can't get the guy to answer his phone or call me back though so I haven't got one yet.

what time of the day are you trying to call them? Anything after about 3, and they're scrambling to get shipping orders out I know. I had the best results calling Phil in the earlier AM hours.

It's funny you say that today as I finally got a converter ordered from him today. Great guy to talk to and I like his price too. Only $495 and he doesn't charge for the core unless it's not back within 30 days. He said he will do one free restall if I don't like what I get. I should have it in about a week and hopefully my transmission is done by then to.

Yeah and not only that he's putting a return label in the box so I can ship my core back for free.

I'm like a little kid just before Christmas, can't wait to get her going again!!!

Well, I ended up going up to Spec Rite Converters in Redding today to pick up my 300 lower than stock Borg Warner aluminum stator converter. Nice fellas. They were pretty busy.

I also have a Transgo shift kit on the way from PATC. My plan is to pull the trans, weld a drain plug in the pan and if everything looks good I'll swap converters and put in the Transgo kit. If there is excessive junk in the pan I'll rebuild it.

I recognize that pretty sapphire blue. I run their steel stator unit. You should be happy with the efficiency of that converter.
