full manul vb in a 727 questions

Postby Joecochrane » Thu Jan 16, 2014 10:37 am

I plan on converting my truck to a full manual vb. Question is will I still have to run a tv cable. Motor and trans is in a f350 with my home made linkage and I'm having trouble syncing the throttle linkage with the tv linkage.

You'll need a cable from the trans to the shifter yes (I think that's a tv cable). If your truck is already an auto with that thing hanging off the top of the pump then with the manual vb you can remove that

I believe you still need the TV cable unless its a constant pressure VB.

Thanks not quite ready to tear into the trams yet. I've still got a few more parts left to squeeze a ill more power out of the engine.

Some of the best mopar Trans guys. Even the sales tech in over there knows his stuff. He started rattling specs off for a turbo 350 to me when I called them once.
